12 years of good blatting, 2 Le Mans trips, track days, hill-climbs picnics, weddings, parties and regular Sunrise weekend 'engagement' at the highest level : Robert the Red (ford) X-flow has been retired!
24 years as an S3 through three evolutions to its final form, it was time for a rebuild ...or, to be passed on. Sad day, like putting down the family labrador. Just as smelly and leaky, but potentially a lot more expensive and of much greater value in part exchange!

So, after a good few weeks of negotiation and consideration, a deal was struck, and with a boot full of spares and doors, screen and spare wheel fitted, the old X-Flow drove to an unknown future. Although we can probably be sure it will not appear in a burger or lasagne if we were to continue the family pet analogy.
Sunny day, M25, flared wings and flames...shame really. Just need a wodge of cash and a double garage and things could have been different.
