4 up , proper 'first' of the year.

First 4 man blat since November last year.

...that's six months! We should have a word with ourselves. However , injuries, weather and technicals all paid their part. All we need now is to get back in the groove and bang in some of those early mornings to make up the lost time.

Qwaig is back with new engine and exhaust and with a bladder that needs retraining to go at least half blat distance . Andy has a Onesie that needs dirtying up, Steve has a new car that also needs dirtying up and Ian has short hair that needs messing up....so plenty to achieve in the meaningless world of early morning ambitions and objectives. Dry roads and clearing skies all help when there's breakfast to be had somewhere out there.

Wisborough Green saw us right for the fry up , just on the A272  which is suffering the attentions of the gravellers right now and is best avoided at the western end if you want to keep some paint on! Only THE GRAVEL can reduce a Seven to a pace even less than the suggested 20 mph. 'Frustrated Peugeot drivers (et al), stay back there from our dainty carbon and shiny surfaces, for we are but delicate creatures in the harsh world of newly gravelled tarmac'.

We managed to pick our way through the dirt track that was the 272 and soon re claimed our reputation, once clear and on standard surface, dispensing frustration back in unequal measure.

The stop:

Anyhow, good to be out again, the blatting was fine and the breakfast was better. Welcome back the Sunrise Sevens and say 'Good Morning' to the dawn chorus that is the Chapman tune of Sevens on song across Hants, Surrey and Sussex ...coming to your morning soon!!
