Still here.....

....well in Wales actually, for last weekend anyway.

Blue sky, fantastic roads and 490 miles in 2 days. 290 of them on this type of road in the company of three other Sevens. Just the perfect antidote to a wet summer and rather a lot of Olympics ;-)

What's it all about?

It's about putting together a good couple of hours on the road in our favourite cars and seeking that balance of pace, control, excitement and involvement that only comes from spirited 'blats'very early in the morning ...or even late at night.

The essence of what we enjoy I'll attempt to capture here with words, images, links and stuff. The Sunrise 7 Squadron members (Sunrisers) can use the blog as a reference point for scramble calls and reminders of our activities I guess, but I'm hoping to find it useful as a place to portray the abstract that is blatting and to build a resource that will illustrate the simple pleasure of 'driving for fun'... it may not be a freedom afforded to us forever, and I'd like to have a reminder of how it was!
